Welcome to the Rotary Club of
Port Macquarie West

Situated on the New South Wales mid north coast, Port Macquarie offers similar challenges to a service organisation as any other community. The Rotary Club of Port Macquarie West was chartered in April 1971 and enjoys a mixed membership of more than 50 Rotarians.

The Club is very active in supporting various programs including those for our youth, people with disabilities and many other projects that help to make our community a better place in which to live. Some highlights to which the Club is most proud are; the building of the pavilion at McInherney Park, construction of the original headquarter for the Port Macquarie Sea Rescue, the establishment of the Kooloonbung Creek Walkway, assisting with the formation of a local branch of Sailability and joining with the other local Rotary Clubs to erect Life Guard Towers on each of the five major beaches in the area.

Visitors are always welcome at our meetings. We meet every Tuesday night at 6 pm for 6.30 pm at the Panthers Club on the corner of Bay and Park Streets.

My favourite saying comes from a former President of Rotary International;

“As an individual, I cannot do everything for everyone everywhere, but as a Rotarian I can do something for someone somewhere.”
