Youth Service

Rotary offers a range of activities and courses available to students from Primary School to High School and as young adults to experience different aspects of life achievements.

Honeywell Engineering & Science Experience – Brings 100 Year 11 students from NSW and the ACT who are interested in pursuing engineering as a career.

Interact & Rotaract & Rotakids – Rotary clubs sponsor international programs for service minded young people from primary and secondary school age and beyond.

MUNA – Model United Nations Assembly – The aim of MUNA is to build bridges of goodwill for world peace and understanding in the minds of our youth.

Public Speaking – The aim is to broaden year 10 and year 11 students in a Public speaking experience

Youth Exchange Program – Long Term – Preparation and placement of outbound student  in another country under supervision of that country’s Rotary Club and continuous monitoring of students whilst away.  To foster students from Inbound countries and also monitor.

RANZE – Australia & New Zealand Exchange Program – Short term exchange of students to New Zealand and return visit from New Zealand student to Australia. Each student spends 14 weeks living in a home and attending school with their exchange partner.

Our club has encouraged children from Primary School to be involved in competitions of Creative Writing and involvement in local community events.  Children were invited to extend their thoughts by making greeting cards for Drought affected  farmers all over our State.
