President’s Report

A Night at the Races proved to be a ton of fun when 22 of our Rotarians and partners attended the Rotary Club of Laurieton’s “Melbourne Cup Spectacular”. Many thanks to our great coach driver John Channon for driving all over town picking us up and delivering us home safely. It was a great time for extra fellowship having a yak and changing stories on the bus trip.

Little did we know that we had the ‘Winning Jockey’ of the night on our bus. Port West put up a tremendous battle in one of the heats but David Gleeson took home the Chocolates for being able to wind up his horse to an amazing winning pace and take out the winning trophy.
