President’s Report

Last weekend President Elect Jeff, Peter & Rose Gray, Alan & Gail Barber and I attended the Rotary District 9650 in Armidale. The Key Note speakers were once again of high standard and really great to hear their journeys of a variety of subjects. The Finalists in the Public Speaking were outstanding and it is great to hear the youth of today speaking on subjects they were passionate about. Hopefully you will hear from one of the speakers at our meeting in the future. President Elect Jeff is all fired up and looking forward to taking our club into 2019-2020.

Our Challenge night with the Wauchope rotary club was enjoyed by all who travelled across the Highway and the Bowls Challenge was a ‘nail biter’ as it came down to the last two ends of the game when Alan Unsworth and Peter Gray were narrowly defeated by the Wauchope team.Great effort guys and we will beat them next year. Once again our great Vice President John relieved us all of driving to and forth our for our outing. All members really appreciated
